Save resources for what comes next

You do not need to collect everything immediately. This preview only helps you avoid selling every useful resource.

A simple daily rhythm

  1. Check your mail and the request board.
  2. Water crops that need attention.
  3. Talk to villagers already on your route.
  4. Choose one main objective for the day.
  5. Use remaining time for gathering, fishing or the Mines.
  6. Check whether new finds belong in the museum.

You do not need to do everything

  • You do not need to clear the whole farm.
  • You do not need to maximize every relationship immediately.
  • You do not need to finish every request on the day it appears.
  • You do not need to optimize every item you sell.
  • Missing one “perfect” day does not ruin your save.

Fields of Mistria beginner questions

What should I do first in Fields of Mistria?

We recommend meeting the townsfolk, planting what you already have, and gathering wood and stone. Check your mail from Spring 2 onward for the pickaxe, museum, and bridge quests.

When does Repair the Bridge start?

Repair the Bridge becomes available from Spring 3 after you read Adeline’s letter. It requires 60 Stone and 60 Wood.

How do I unlock the Saturday Market?

Repair the Bridge first, then visit town on Saturday and meet Merri, Darcy, Vera, and Louis. Return to Nora to finish the vendor introduction.

When do the Mines open?

The first Mines quest becomes available from Spring 6. The following unlock step requires that quest to be completed and Renown Level 10.

Which tool should I upgrade first?

There is no single best first upgrade. Choose the tool that matches your current goal, such as the Pickaxe for the Mines or the Watering Can for crops.

What should I avoid selling?

Keep enough Stone and Wood for the bridge, one undonated copy of museum items, and anything with a known upcoming quest or recipe use. This site tracks known uses, not every possible use in the game.

Can I miss Spring museum items?

Some donations are Spring-only. You can track missing Spring items on the museum checklist and donate them when you have a copy.

Do I need to follow a strict daily schedule?

No. The first-week table is a recommended route, not a deadline. Missing a day does not ruin your save.
